INITIAL CONSULTATION

Your session begins from the moment you make contact with Onnie Hull Photography. Taking a few minutes to have a conversation, either by phone or in person, ensures that together we can plan a fun and successful photoshoot that will provide you with beautiful artwork  to enjoy for years to come. We will take this time to answer any questions you have and define expectations for the final results.

style & wardrobe consultation

First and foremost, you should be comfortable in your wardrobe choice. This is not the time to find out if you are happy in a long, flowy dress or stiletto heels. However, a few tips on clothing choices will go a long way to add to the look and feel that you desire for your portraits. Generally, muted solids are a good choice as are long sleeves and pants. Darker colors are slimming and v-necks will tend to be flattering on women. Coordinating with others in the picture is also a good rule of thumb, and in the case of pet photography, coordinating with your pet's coloring is a good idea as well. It's also a good idea to bring more than one outfit to your session for more flexibility of final look.

YOUR PHOTOSHOOT

This is the day we pull it all together. Where all our plans turn into a fun day with your family and your pet. It is always my goal to make sure that you and they are very comfortable and stress free. Each animal is unique and reacts differently to this type of situation and I use all the experience and resources I have to ensure their feelings and fears are acknowledged and respected. 

The reveal session

Approximately two to three weeks after the shoot we will get together at the studio to preview your portraits, enjoy some refreshments and place your order into production. All orders are sent to a professional lab that will create your beautiful prints and products.
